SHORT RAM INTAKE
Short ram intakes increase horsepower by reducing the amount of restriction on the air entering the engine. A short ram intake eliminates the resonator and filter box, giving the air a shorter travel distance and increasing engine power.
COLD AIR INTAKE
Cold air intakes are meant to increase horsepower by moving where the engine pulls in air from inside the engine bay, to outside the engine bay. As the outside of the engine bay is cooler, the air pulled in is denser and is carrying more oxygen, so it will allow the engine to burn more fuel and produce more power.
